Dan Welden

Dan Welden continues to inspire artists, teachers and students around the world in workshops where he demonstrates how to make Solarplate impressions and print them with high and deep techniques (relief and intaglio).

As the original pioneer of safer and greener methods, he has been in the forefront of printmaking without the use of acids, grounds or other dangerous chemicals.

During Dan Welden’s 50+ year career as an artist and master printmaker, he has shown his work in
93 solo exhibitions, and in over 600 group shows internationally.
